On May 11, 2009, USPS will raise its mailing services prices again. The new rates have been dramatically modified, mostly in the direction of dramatically raising retail rates. Not only have rates increased, the structure of rates has dramatically changed.
As a result of the new rate structure, we have changed our chart offering to reflect the products still available. We have phased out the Intra-BMC Parcel Post rate table because this rate table no longer exists. We have also removed the Bound Printed Matter rate table because of a change in 2008 requiring all Bound Printed Matter to be paid by permit, so the USPS makes the postage calculation, not you. If any USPS employees would like the chart, shoot us an e-mail.
To make up for it, we have added some often-requested rate tables to a new chart: our Express Mail & Zone Chart. The zone chart is customized for your ZIP code to show the zone for all ZIP codes in the United States. Our complete package has been updated to reflect this new offering and we now truly feel we can call it a complete package.
The USPS rate table, aside from being bland and easy to become lost in, is a document more than thirty pages long. We've consolidated it into a handy quick reference that's about the size of a large greeting card. These full-color, laminated, palm-size quick reference charts will keep the rates handy and within reach in hard copy form anywhere you need to know how much a 3.5 ounce non-machinable First Class Mail Letter will cost (and what the heck all of that means).
